Corkie
The definition of calm. Sweet, affectionate, and always ready to curl up for the perfect nap.
Their Story
Corkie is the heart of the sanctuary. He's 15 and we recently found out he has cancer — and he doesn't like his meds. The kind of cat that reminds you why safe, quiet spaces matter.
Favorite Things
Long naps, cozy blankets, and being as close to you as possible.

Corkie thrives in a safe, stable environment and with regular care and medication we're hoping for more time with our first love.
Mona
Small but mighty. Mona runs the outdoors and everyone knows it.
Their Story
As a barn cat and mother of six (Mango, Rue, Colby, Jack, Monty, and Swiss), Mona built her own little legacy here. Despite her tough exterior, she's one of the first to greet you and one of the very few who will allow a pet.

Keeping watch over her territory, greeting visitors, and new spring grass to hunt in.

Outdoor boss ladies like Mona rely on consistent food and shelter to thrive and stay healthy, especially during our cold winters and hot summers.
Rue
All tortie. Independent, strong-willed, and feisty.
Their Story
The last of Mona's kittens, she was found wandering the barn at 3–4 weeks old by herself. Mona had zero interest in raising her, so she became part of the indoor crew — we bottle-fed her for a short time. Rue has seizures, likely from falling from the barn loft, which meant she couldn't transition back to barn life.
Favorite Things
Oreo — he's the only cat Rue will cuddle with. Her "woobie" (a cloth-covered spring toy — do NOT try to take it). She also loves feather toys.
Why They Need a Sponsor
Rue has seizures and requires phenobarbital twice a day — which she does not like. She needs calm mealtimes away from the others. She's a one-person cat and mostly can do without even that one person!
