We Are Full — No New Rescues Right Now
The sanctuary is completely full at the moment, and we are unable to take on any additional rescues.
We were hoping to have the barn renovation at least started before winter hits, but the coyote problem has to be resolved first. We can't welcome new cats until it's a safe environment for them.

We Have Barn Kittens!
One of our new barn cats turned out to be pregnant, and now we've spotted the litter on the trail cam — two wobbly, curious 5-6 week olds so far, with ears up and full of mischief. Our best guess for mama is Masked Tortie Mama.

Corkie's Cat Sanctuary provides a safe, permanent home for abandoned, stray, feral, and special-needs cats in rural Missouri. Our mission is to improve their lives and reduce the cycle of unwanted cats through compassionate lifetime care, accessible spay/neuter, veterinary treatment, and responsible colony management — while advocating for the animals and rural communities too often overlooked by traditional animal welfare resources.
Every cat may not have a home waiting for them. At Corkie's, they already have one.
We are a small farm in Lafayette County, Missouri caring for a growing colony of rescue and barn cats abandoned on our property. Currently, we have 24 cats — 11 barn cats and 13 indoor cats. Responsible colony management is important to us, and every one of our cats will be spayed or neutered as availability and funding permits — we provide daily food, shelter, and any needed medical care with nearby reliable veterinary services.
These cats help keep rodents away and deserve a safe, healthy life. Any donation — big or small — helps keep them thriving and prevents future litters. Thank you for supporting community cats in rural Missouri.
